Dear Global Horizons USA Team,

I’ve been back in Germany for five days now and arrived safely after a long flight. With this email I wanted to say goodbye as well as thank you, because I really had the best half year of my life in Virginia, experienced and learned a lot. Even though there were a few initial difficulties at the beginning, I would like to thank Global Horizons for organizing this great semester for me and finding the best host mother you could have found for me.

I’ve gained an awful lot of great experiences, found friends at my high school. Basically, everything went the way I always wanted. Therefore, I am very grateful that this great experience has been made possible for me by you and if there are any future exchange students, who would like to hear the view of an already returning exchange student, you can gladly forward them my contact information, because I would love to talk about my great time.
